In 2009 Jim is again a part of Ryan Beckley's Doubledge Motorsports team. Jim brings his expertise and experience to the S-111 team during the Offshore Super Series season. The 30 Skater with Mercury 2.5 OS Race engines races near 110 mph.
The boats must meet weight requirements and the motors must be raced as produced by Mercury, so this is a very competitive class. Set up, prop selection, and fuel calculation are very important. This season Ryan has joined forces with Jimmy Winters of the Talkin Trash Race Team. Jimmy will be driving for Ryan as well as driving his boat. It is great to have Jimmy in the boat.

We finished in third place. We are optimistic the changes made over the winter will improve the boat and a win against the yellow and orange boats is just around the corner.
In 2008 Ryan and his accomplished pilot, Allen Campbell, earned 2 wins and took top honors in the National Championship Series.
